NOVA CAPITAL PARTNERS’ MARK ALLEGRETTI DELIVERS SPEECH AT G-8 AFRICA BUSINESS FORUM IN LONDON
New York, NY – July 13, 2009 – Nova Capital Partners, LLC was invited to speak during the 2009 Africa Business Forum held in London that was hosted by the United Kingdom’s Commonwealth Business Council (CBC).
As described by the CBC (www.cbcglobal.org), the Africa Business Forum is an annual event enabling business and government leaders to jointly assess progress in promoting growth and development in Africa. Mr. Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda, delivered the keynote address at this year’s Forum, which was held on July 6 and 7. The Forum concluded with drafting a communiqué for the G-8 leaders meeting in Italy.
Mr. Allegretti, a Managing Director at Nova Capital Partners, delivered a speech during the session entitled “Global Financial Crisis: The Challenge for Africa.” Along with senior bankers from Citigroup, the Commonwealth Development Corporation, and Goldman Sachs, Mr. Allegretti fielded questions from the audience which covered a wide range of financial and related topics pertaining to the African continent.
When asked, Mr. Allegretti stated, “It was a privilege to be invited to speak at the 2009 Africa Business Forum. There were lively discussions and debates over the course of the 2-day session.
